As an essential business, Edge Electronics is taking the proper steps and precautions to provide, safe, responsive, and complete service during this global health crisis. We are working together with our industry-leading manufacturers to continue to supply necessary components and hardware to medical, military, and industrial manufacturers, as we well as much needed PPE, disinfecting and related products to government agencies.
Below is a message to our valued customers explaining the actions we are taking as a company to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, from Edge Electronics’ President/CEO, Adrienne Giannone:
“As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation escalates, our hearts go out to all those who have been and will be directly affected by this global health crisis.
As you may know, Edge Electronics’ customer base is highly comprised of mission-critical parts of our economy. We distribute essential electronic components and computer systems to manufacturers of medical, military, industrial, and networking equipment, as well as IT departments and systems integrators. For our MRO & Industrial Supplies division, we support government agencies, first responders, hospitals, and facility maintenance companies right in the heart of the US outbreak with products used to fight the spread of COVID-19. So, please know you have our commitment to continue operations during this uncertain time while also taking the following necessary steps to safeguard our employees and our community.
We are closely monitoring the situation and keeping in constant contact with our suppliers regarding our supply chain to ensure the best possible outcomes. Any potential delays will be relayed to customers as soon as they are known.
Based on the guidance from our local and federal governments, we are activating Edge’s Infectious Disease Outbreak Response Plan, which includes a remote workforce where possible, with only essential personnel physically reporting while following strict procedures for distancing and disinfecting. Fortunately, we have the technology in place to make this a smooth transition, and customers should expect uninterrupted service from all of our departments, including sales, engineering, customer service, accounting, and warehousing/shipping.
We are all in this situation together, and we hope all organizations will do their part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 so that we can get this under control sooner rather than later.
We thank you for your business and continued patience during these extremely challenging times.
Please contact your Sales Executive to answer any questions you may have.
Be cautious, be safe, and be well!”
