(JDI) has made a strategic investment in OLEDWorks, and together the two companies have announced plans to establish advanced display manufacturing in the U.S., with a focus on defense, automotive, and medical applications. It may be an early signal of where parts of the display supply chain are headed and how sourcing strategies could evolve over time.
