Edge's LCD Solutions Program is largely built around supporting customers in industries such as medical and military with industrial LCDs. There may not be a standard definition for an industrial LCD, but we're going to try to explain how we define them.

Micron recently announced that the new 9400 NVMe SSD is in production as of the beginning of 2023. This drive will serve as the replacement to the previous 9300 series that is EOL (end of life) as of 2022.

Micron recently announced that the 5300 SATA SSD is going EOL (End of Life) soon. First launched in 2019, Micron's 10th generation data center SATA SSD has been on the market for 3 years and it is now time to begin the EOL process. This drive is being replaced by the Micron 5400 SATA SSD, an advanced SATA SSD that is also the world's first with 176-layer NAND.

After 2 years of virtual exhibitions due to the pandemic, Display Week finally returned in person this year!

Professionals throughout the display industry met in San Jose from May 10-12 for many opportunities of networking with industry-leading manufacturers and suppliers, as well as exhibitions of display product demos and solutions.

Edge is excited to report that Display Week 2022 was a HUGE success! We were thrilled to be back in person to exhibit our product and solution demos with prospective customers.

Although this year's show was considerably smaller than in years past, we saw tremendous interest in our display solutions, as usual.

SATA SSDs have been popular for a long time as a replacement for HDDs

Around the turn of the century disk drive manufacturers started the transformation of previous disk drive interfaces to SATA. If your application was boot drive or system disk, the choice for interface for one drive would be SATA. In 2008, advancements had been made on the SATA interface to reach speeds of 600 megabytes per second (MB/s) which was referred to as SATA III.
